It’s not that the world hasn’t had more carbon dioxide, it’s not that the world hasn’t been warmer. The problem is the speed at which things are changing. We are inducing a sixth mass extinction event kind of by accident and we don’t want to be the ‘extinctee.’
Climate change is of global concern due to its potential to alter ways in which people live their lives. These global changes not only threaten to deprive humans of their lands but also to end lives of living things that cannot adapt to the chaotic weather the world is experiencing.
