Climate change is of global concern due to its potential to alter ways in which people live their lives. These global changes not only threaten to deprive humans of their lands but also to end lives of living things that cannot adapt to the chaotic weather the world is experiencing. These challenges being posed have the capacity to increase the already existing poverty situations across many countries of the world. Thus, the need for mitigation and development strategies that will help humans to adapt to the changing climate.

Ensuring sustainable development through eco-friendly life systems that mitigate the effects of climate change.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote awareness on pollution and climate change activities among Nigerians
- To promote eco-friendly practices of re-use and re-cycling of materials among Nigerians
- To engage in advocacy with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to enhance their climate change activities.
- To establish a network of organizations and individuals for the purpose of sensitizing communities on climate change issues
ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION
- Initiating effective tree planting activities in collaboration with governmental agencies and other NGOs..
- Promoting resource reuse/recycling, environmental and land use management/education.
- Organizing seminars, trainings and public forum aimed at enlightening communities on the impact of pollution and climate change mitigation.
- Livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation strategies via climate-smart agricultural practices (supply and management of fish fingerlings, resistant varieties of crops, and animals to communities; forestry management, among others)
- Promoting online awareness through social media and websites.
- Providing incentives and subsidies that will restrain people from practices that cause climate change, but rather adapt to climate change.
